Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Profanity

This film is horrifying, I only entered here as there is not nudity but there is one disturbing sexual scene. There is drug use on the part of the mother portrayed as "medicine." All the teen children smoke. There is not much profanity except slut. However the violence, abuse and torture, not only done by and adult but by other children to the 16 year old girl is very very very disturbing. This family is beyond disfunctional, they are just plain evil. I would suggest no child watch this that is under 18. I had nightmares after this movie and I am an adult. I would never let my teenager watch this.

A young girl is beaten and tortured throughout the entire film. She is whipped, burned with cigarettes, branded, kicked, and punched. Many of the children from the neighborhood regularly show up at the house to abuse the girl.

In one particularly disturbing scene, the mother of the household forces the young lady to insert a Coke bottle into her vagina. While we don't see the actual contact, we see everything leading up to it, and her facial reactions.
