This week's addition of Kara DioGuardi in the judging panel of talent TV show "American Idol" have left some speculations, one of which says that the show will change their judge line-up. A source even claims that the show's producer is hiring a new younger female judge to ditch Paula Abdul.
Paula has recently showed her concern over the new judge and says that she is worried about the audience's acceptance. According to Us Magazine, Abdul has told Phoenix's Kiss-fm, "I am concerned about the audience and acceptance. Time will tell. We'll see."
Speaking of Kara, Paula continues saying that they are old friends who used to work together and after a long time separation, Paula welcomes her and considers it as a reunion. "[Kara] was my roommate! And I took her all around the world with me and introduced her to wonderful people...She stayed in Sweden and wrote

Making his feature film debut through teenage comedy "College", former "American Idol" finalist Kevin Covais will bare more than just his acting skills. The fifth season contestant who was nicknamed 'Chicken Little' has confessed that he will be seen taking off his clothes in one of the movie's scenes.
"I strip down to my underwear in the movie," the 19-year-old told MTV. He further joked about the appeal of his daring performance suggesting that it should be used for the promotional of the Deb Hagan-directed film. "Seriously, they should put that on the poster," he said. "See me stripped down to my tightie whities - how can people not go?"
Speaking out more about "College", he deemed that the adventures he faced in the movie are insane. "It really pushes some boundaries," he claimed. "We do body shots off of a guy, I think people are going

Brett Ratner gets a lot of grief and he deserves a lot. It's really not even because of his movies; his personality is the biggest problem I have with him. Anyway, in the perfect situation, I think he could be a perfectly serviceable director. I don't want him taking over a Terry Gilliam film or remaking Kurosawa, say, but you can find a good project for a guy with well-honed hack skills.
Case in point, The Rat would hypothetically love to direct a Guitar Hero movie.
Sitting down with MTV, Ratner drooled over the prospect of another video game adaptation (he's linked to God of War, which is not an ideal pairing). "I would love to do a Guitar Hero movie, if Activision would ever let me," he said. "I’m trying to convince them, but why would you have a movie screw up such a huge franchise? Not that

There are two things that stand out about the new comedy College:
1) Most movies about the college experience have roughly the same sense of humor, although their execution varies wildly.
2) There are a lot more breasts than I expected.
Since the days of Animal House, the rules of college flicks really haven't changed all that much. There's debauchery, pranks, drunkenness (separate from the debauchery), skewered authority figures, arrogant frat boys who can neither spell nor adequately prepare for comeuppance, heroic geeky figures, and women.
There's never been a college comedy since Animal House to do it as well, but they still try. College's attempt is slightly different, but only in the smallest detail. You see, instead of college students experiencing the endless kegger, we have high school students on a college campus. It's

American Idol producers, who had vowed to spruce up the show to lure back viewers, announced the first of its changes on Monday -- the addition of a permanent fourth judge, songwriter Kara DioGuardi. Although the final nights of last season's competition remained among the season's highest-rated shows, many of the earlier episodes were well below the series' average audience. (Nevertheless it averaged 28.1 million viewers, higher than the average audience for last week's Olympic Games.) In its report about DioGuardi's addition to the judging panel, Reuters commented Monday, "Self-assured with a matter-of-fact, no-nonsense style, DioGuardi is expected to provide a counterweight to the sometimes gushy, even vacuous on-air persona of [singer Paula] Abdul." Abdul later said during a radio interview, "I am concerned about the audience and acceptance." Speaking with reporters on Monday DioGuardi remarked, "I'm just somebody who's really honest and gives my opinion, and if I feel the need to be hard with someone in order to get that across, I will be. And if I feel I need to be softer and more nurturing with some of the contestants, I'll be that."

New American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi was so surprised to be offered the job that she nearly fell off her chair.
The music producer was stunned to be given the post, but insists she will add to the chemistry of the TV talent show.
And she is determined to get on with her fellow judges - including Paula Abdul, with whom she collaborated on Kylie Minogue's hit Spinning Around.
Speaking about the moment she was offered the role, DioGuardi says, "I almost fell off the chair" and adds that she hopes to create "a new chemistry as well as keeping the old".
And asked how she felt about judging wannabe pop stars, she says, "I'm a little nervous. I'm going to be a straight shooter and say it like I see it and maintain that philosophy.
"I'm somebody who's really honest and gives an opinion. If I feel I need to be hard, I will be. And if I feel I need to be more nurturing, I will be."

Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and Simon Cowell are confirmed to be backed up with a fourth judge for the eight season of "American Idol". The reality show producer, Cecile Frot-Coutaz has recently announced that the reality show will be adding Grammy-nominated songwriter, Kara DioGuardi in judging panel. David Archuleta, who was thought to be a sure bet to win last season's American Idol -- but came in second to David Cook -- may be beating Cook where it counts -- in record sales. Billboard magazine has placed Archuleta's debut single "Crush" in second place on its Hot 100 singles chart. That bested the third-place debut of Cook's "The Time of My Life" in June. The trade publication observed that "Crush" marked the biggest bow by an Idol contestant for a song never performed on the show. The two Davids are due to challenge one another again in November when their first album CDs are released.

Anna Faris as Shelley Darlingson (left) and Emma Stone as Natalie in The House Bunny
Photo: Sony Pictures Having also seen the ultra-violent Death Race in the same week as The House Bunny I realized one big thing; cliched violence doesn't offer any kind of real reaction whereas cliched humor can still manage to make you laugh as long as the delivery is entertaining and fresh. Sure, the dumb blond jokes in The House Bunny are old and played out, but Anna Faris gives you continuing reason to laugh in a film that is far funnier than it really deserves to be. The House Bunny plays on the sexy-but-dumb stereotype to the fullest extent and Faris has proven in the past, as a regular in the otherwise awful Scary Movie films, she can pull this off. On top of looking amazing, Faris gives this film every reason to exist. Co-stars Emma Stone,

Pop-turns-country singer Jessica Simpson has spoken out against Carrie Underwood's recent claim that ex-boyfriend Tony Romo is still calling her despite the fact that they have split for months and he's already dating Jess. Insisting the American Idol champion's claim as false, Jess claimed that she and Romo "laughed" when they first heard that.
Underwood told Allure magazine in an interview for its September issue that Romo still calls her sometimes, but she doesn't always pick up the phone. "The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer," said the songbird of the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.
Jess, on the other hand, slammed Underwood's claim, telling Nashville radio station, the Woody and Jim show, in an interview on Wednesday, August 20, "Tony and I both laughed at that. We got a chuckle out of it." She furthermore insisted that "If Tony wanted to call her and be with her,

Paula Abdul has undergone surgery on her neck to relieve pain she has suffered for the past 20 years.
According to reports, the American Idol judge checked into Los Angeles' Olympia Medical Center in early August for a five-day stay.
The 46-year-old singer's spine was first damaged during a cheerleading accident when she was 17. She was then involved in a car accident and a minor plane crash that worsened the damage.
She once told reporters, "I have four titanium plates in my neck. I've had 14 surgeries over the years."
A source tells the National Enquirer of her recent surgery, "Paula wasn't about to begin another season of Idol living in constant pain. Auditions for the show begin in New York at the end of August, and she wanted to make sure she was feeling her best before hitting the road." (Ig/Ne)

Australian model Sophie Monk has been said to be given a hefty offer to bare all in Playboy magazine. Latest report concerning the former girlfriend of Good Charlotte's guitarist Benji Madden claimed that the 28-year-old is weighing her options for the proposed $1 million bid for her stripping nude in the men's magazine.
Monk who has once appeared in "Date Movie" allegedly has been approached by Playboy editors since they believe she could boost their sales. To Star Magazine, Monk's friend said, "They think she'll break sales records. Especially in Australia." Further on the story, Star reported that this is not the first lucrative deal thrown by Playboy to Monk. She was given a huge offer when she was engaged to Madden, but she didn't take the deal because Madden didn't approve of it.
Monk and Madden split earlier this year. The separation was announced officially on February 12, 2008 through Monk's Sydney agent who stated,
