Mulholland Drive star Laura Harring is set to become the latest celebrity to adopt a child.
The Mexican-born beauty is hoping to take a break from acting so she can focus her efforts on adopting a Latin American child with her fiance.
She tells WENN, "My plan is to finish my memoirs, and start writing and producing my own projects, so that I may spend more time with my family and adopt a child.
"I was recommended to go to two adoption agencies - Holt International or Children's Hope International (and) I am looking into others as well."
But, before Harring concentrates on her adoption dreams, she has volunteered to help package one million meals in a day as part of a Stop Hunger Now drive on 23 August.
She adds, "The meals go to Johannesburg, Zambia + Madagascar."
